25th Annual Jig in the Valley!

The 25th Annual JIG in the Valley – always the last Sunday in July, (mark your calendar for the 30th!), rain or shine, on the Green beginning at noon. Join us this summer for the event of the decade!

The Fairfield Community Center and The Meeting House on the Green join forces to bring you a day of music, great food, wonderful kids’ activities, a Silent Auction, raffles galore, a community flea market, and surprises that even we don’t know about yet!

The line up for the day’s music will be diverse and sparkling:  Dale and Darcy, Brian Curry, Tyrone & his Oleo Romeos, Carol Ann Jones and the Superchargers, The Missisquoi River Band, Rush Run from West Virginia, George Lewis, Jacob Highter, Joe Moore & Al Zansler to name some of the players at this year’s Jig. 8 hours of music, dancing and fun!

There’ll be homemade, wood-fired pizza, a parade with Black Creek Adventure Camp, great finds at the flea market and silent auction, Deb’s Pie Table, raffles galore, and as always, amazing food under the tent. All for just $10 person, or $25 for a family.

Bring your blanket, your lawn chair, your dancing shoes, and your well-behaved dogs (on a leash please) for this important annual fundraiser for The Fairfield Community Center, celebrating summer, our community and life itself!

The Fairfield Community Center Association has been working to meet the changing needs of Franklin county and beyond since its inception in 1992. Currently, we serve the community through a food shelf, weekly senior meals, cooking classes, and exciting vacation and summer camps for youth.


April Vacation Camp Registration!

Time is flying! Don’t forget to register for April Vacation Week! Join us for a week full of outside scientific exploration, gardening, sewing, cooking and other life skills, as well as art, music and drama! Camp will be held April 24th  through the 28th, with care available from 7:30-4:30.

The cost is $125 for the week- with a 10% discount for multiple siblings. Daily rate is $30/day. A healthy breakfast and Snack will be served daily. (Kids bring their own bag lunch).

The Fairfield Community Center has been chosen AGAIN as a Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program beneficiary to raise funds for the food shelf.

East Fairfield, Vermont – The Fairfield Community Center a nonprofit committed to providing food, programming, and fun events has been selected AGAIN as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of March.

This innovative program has been designed to support local nonprofits like The Fairfield Community Center. For every blue Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag with the good karma messaging purchased at the Enosburg Falls Hannaford, The Fairfield Community Center will receive a $1 donation in order to help fulfill its mission of providing social, health, and educational programs for all in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment to create, promote, and enhance the well being of our community.

Did you miss Kids in the Kitchen?

Kids in the Kitchen was so popular this year, every class was full within 24 hours of opening registration!  What a great response!  Unfortunately, there probably were many more children who wanted to sign up, but couldn’t.  Not to worry!  February Vacation Camp will provide another opportunity for those of you who would like to get into the kitchen!  We will expand on the Kids in the Kitchen activities, as well as provide opportunities for outdoor play, arts and crafts, board games, and just plain fun!  Registration deadline is February 20.  Log into fairfieldcommunitycenter.org and click on Children’s Programming, then February Vacation Camp Registration.
